Welcome to the homepage for Leeds People's Choir. We are a friendly mixed-voice secular choir of people who take pleasure in singing songs of joy, struggle, liberation, celebration and peace from around the world.

We meet on Wednesday evenings at the Swarthmore Centre in Woodhouse Square.

We sing unaccompanied usually in four parts: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.

It is not necessary to know how to read music (although it is useful) as we do a lot of learning by ear.
We do not audition and the choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing.
